Privacy Policy

Overview
This policy explains what data Blackroom Alpha collects when you visit blackroomalpha.com or join our community, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run a paid Discord community, we don't sell your data, and analytics only run with your consent where consent is required.
What We Collect
- Checkout data: When you purchase a membership, checkout is handled by Whop. Whop collects your email address and payment details under its own privacy policy — we never see or store your full payment information. We receive your email and order status to provision access.
- Discord identity: When you link Discord after checkout, we receive your Discord user ID and username so your membership role can be assigned automatically.
- Crypto payments: If you pay with crypto via MoonPay / Helio, those providers process the transaction under their own privacy policies. Public blockchain transactions are, by nature, publicly visible.
- Usage data: Basic, privacy-friendly traffic measurement via Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track you across sites. Where you consent (see Cookies below), Google Analytics also measures how the site is used.
- Attribution: Where you consent, the Whop Pixel records page views on this site so that a membership purchase can be attributed to the page or ad you arrived from. It is provided by Whop, our checkout processor, and uses Whop's own payment data rather than third-party advertising cookies.
Cookies & Consent
In regions where consent is legally required (EU / EEA / UK / Switzerland), neither Google Analytics nor the Whop Pixel loads until you explicitly accept the cookie banner. Your choice is stored locally in your browser and you can change it by clearing site data. Elsewhere, analytics load without a prompt as permitted by local law.

- Attribution (consent-based): Whop Pixel, loaded from t.whop.tw
- Vercel Analytics: cookieless, aggregate page metrics only
How We Use Your Data
- Provisioning and managing your membership and Discord role
- Processing payments, renewals, and cancellations through Whop
- Responding to support requests
- Understanding aggregate site usage to improve the product
We do not sell your personal data, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.
Third-Party Services
The service is built on the following processors, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Whop: Checkout, billing, membership management, and consent-based purchase attribution via the Whop Pixel
- Discord: Community hosting and role management
- MoonPay / Helio: Crypto payment processing
- Google Analytics: Consent-based usage analytics
- Vercel: Site hosting and cookieless analytics
Data Retention
We keep membership records for as long as your membership is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle billing questions and meet legal obligations. Analytics data is retained according to the respective provider's defaults.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete your personal data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw analytics consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through Discord and we'll respond within 30 days.
Security
Payments are handled end-to-end by Whop and MoonPay over encrypted connections — we never store payment credentials. Access to member records is limited to the operators who need it to run the service.
Age Requirement
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we'll delete it.
International Transfers
Our processors may store data in the United States or other countries. Where required, transfers rely on the processors' standard contractual safeguards.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted here with an updated date. Material changes will be announced to members. See also our Terms of Service.
